Life Coaching & Masterclasses
My Life Coaching sessions and Masterclasses are designed to support intentional growth, clarity, and meaningful change. Together, we bridge the gap between insight and action—helping you move forward with confidence, purpose, and practical strategies.
My coaching approach is informed by a BA Degree with a Psychology major, professional training in Executive & Management Coaching (University of Cape Town), and certification as a Spiritual Life Coach. These qualifications provide a strong foundation in human behaviour, coaching methodology, motivation, communication, and personal development.
Together, we may work on:
At the centre of this work is the Upgrading Programme—a structured coaching process that helps identify subconscious beliefs and recurring patterns influencing your choices and outcomes. As these patterns become conscious and are intentionally reframed, space opens for clearer thinking, empowered decision-making, and meaningful change.
This is structured, evidence-informed coaching designed to help you develop greater self-awareness, strengthen personal responsibility, and create lasting forward movement.
Whether through one-to-one coaching or interactive Masterclasses, the focus remains the same: helping you build clarity, resilience, confidence, and intentional action.

Professional Scope

My work focuses on:
A significant part of my work involves helping clients develop conscious communication—learning to express needs clearly, listen with intention, and recognise patterns that contribute to conflict. Communication is often the bridge between disconnection and meaningful repair.
I take a holistic approach, integrating emotional, cognitive, and, where appropriate, practical regulation strategies to support sustainable change while remaining within the scope of Wellness Counselling.
Each session is tailored to your individual needs, ensuring that support remains practical, ethical, and aligned with your goals.
I walk alongside you with integrity and steady guidance as you build a life rooted in resilience, awareness, and wellbeing.

Somatic & Nervous System Work
Your body holds experience.
When emotions are not fully processed, they can settle into patterns—in thoughts, behaviours, relationships, and sometimes physical tension.
Somatic & Nervous System Work helps you reconnect with your body's innate wisdom while gently exploring the emotional roots of what feels stuck.
My approach is informed by accredited professional training in Somatic Mind-Body Healing, Somatic Reprocessing, and Somatic Integration through Inner Wellsprings Academy. Together, these complementary approaches support nervous system regulation, emotional processing, body awareness, and lasting integration.
During these sessions we may:
This work supports emotional integration, nervous system regulation, increased resilience, and deeper self-understanding.
It complements medical care—it does not replace it. Persistent physical symptoms should always be assessed by an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.
I guide the process. Your body holds its own wisdom, and together we create the conditions for that wisdom to be heard.

The Quiet Language
The Quiet Language is a signature DDandelions workshop designed to introduce the principles of somatic awareness through practical psychoeducation, gentle exploration, and experiential somatic practices.
Many of us learn to understand our thoughts and emotions, yet few are taught how to recognise and respond to the messages communicated through the body. This workshop explores the relationship between the mind, body, emotions, and nervous system, helping participants understand how stress, emotional experiences, and everyday life are reflected through physical sensations, movement, posture, and patterns of response.
Combining practical psychoeducation, guided discussion, experiential learning, and a restorative somatic meditation, this workshop offers practical tools that support emotional regulation, self-awareness, resilience, and overall wellbeing.
The Quiet Language has been developed and is facilitated by Debbie Nagel, a registered ASCHP Wellness Counsellor whose work integrates trauma-informed, body-based approaches to emotional wellbeing.
Drawing on professional training in Wellness Counselling, Trauma Coaching, Somatic Mind-Body Healing, Somatic Reprocessing, Somatic Integration, Somatic Meditation, and Executive & Management Coaching, Debbie provides a practical and accessible introduction to somatic awareness that is grounded in both professional knowledge and lived experience.
Participants leave with greater confidence in recognising their body's signals together with practical techniques that support emotional wellbeing and everyday self-regulation.

Somatic-Based Meditation
This work is rooted in a somatic, body-based approach to meditation and self-awareness, supporting emotional regulation, deeper self-connection, and personal growth.
Unlike traditional meditation, which often focuses primarily on the mind, somatic-based meditation gently brings awareness into the body—where stress, emotional patterns, and lived experiences are often held. Through embodied mindfulness and body awareness practices, clients are supported in developing greater presence, emotional balance, and nervous system regulation.
My approach is informed by accredited training as a Somatic Meditation Teacher & Practitioner through Inner Wellsprings Academy. This training integrates trauma-informed, body-based meditation practices that support nervous system regulation, embodied awareness, emotional balance, and lasting self-connection.
This work is not therapy or diagnosis. It is a supportive, body-based practice that complements emotional wellbeing and personal development.

Couples Counselling – 4-Week Structured Process
Healthy relationships require more than solving individual problems—they require understanding the relationship itself.
As a Registered Wellness Counsellor with a BA Degree majoring in Psychology, training in Relationship & Communication Counselling, and qualifications in Negotiation & Conflict Resolution (University of Cape Town), I provide a structured process that supports healthier communication, deeper understanding, and meaningful relationship repair.
When communication breaks down, tension becomes repetitive, or emotional distance grows, working with the relationship as a system creates far deeper change than simply addressing conflict on the surface.
This structured four-week process provides both individual depth and joint integration.
Individual sessions provide a safe and confidential space for each partner to explore personal triggers, communication patterns, emotional responses, and relationship dynamics.
The joint session brings these insights together, strengthening communication, accountability, understanding, and practical tools for rebuilding connection.

Trauma Recovery Support
My trauma recovery approach incorporates Traumatic Incident Reduction (TIR) — a structured, person-centred method designed to help reduce the emotional intensity associated with distressing past experiences.
This gentle, trauma-informed process supports emotional clarity, insight, and emotional regulation by allowing experiences to be explored in a safe, respectful, and contained way.
For younger clients, I use age-appropriate TIR techniques that respect developmental readiness and emotional capacity, always within the scope of my Wellness Counselling qualifications.
For clients experiencing recurring emotional themes or long-standing life patterns, I may incorporate Expanded TIR techniques to explore underlying beliefs, emotional triggers, and behavioural patterns that continue to influence present-day wellbeing.
Where appropriate, and with your comfort and consent, I may integrate gentle somatic regulation techniques to support the process. These may include grounding, breath awareness, orienting, and other nervous system regulation practices to help you remain present, emotionally regulated, and resourced throughout the session.
Structured emotional support for navigating bereavement, significant life loss, and the many emotional adjustments that accompany change. Sessions may be complemented by a guided Grief Journal where appropriate.
Support for navigating life transitions, identity shifts, and periods of personal change. Sessions focus on building clarity, resilience, and practical forward movement. A structured Change Workbook may be incorporated where beneficial.
